Summary: Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine is currently seeking a part time Laundry Worker within the Laundry & Linen Department for 16 hours/week. They will fold, sort, inspect and stack clean linens. Also feed or relieve the flatwork ironer. Hours will be 6:00am-2:30pm primarily weekends, no holidays.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Folds, sorts, inspects and stacks all clean hospital linens.
Assists in the operation of the flatwork ironer.
Folds, sorts and scans all O.R. linens.
Operates the towel and gown small-piece folder.
Delivers clean linen carts to Nursing Areas
REQUIREMENTS:
PREFERRED JOB RELATED
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
