Instructional Designer

Overview
Responsible for the management, design, development, and implementation of learning solutions. The role is chiefly responsible for consulting with Business Unit Managers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure client needs and training expectations are met through the delivery of cost effective, quality learning programs and methods. Assists with achievement of strategic business goals by designing learning programs and reinforcements that align with business needs and produce measurable results. Investigates new training methods and regulatory, market and environmental factors that impact training programs and making program recommendations and changes accordingly.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties
Design, develop, maintain, implement, and evaluate new and existing training programs. Consults with assigned business units to assess learning needs including scope, learner's ability, and business performance alignment. Builds learning solutions from inception to completion and is responsible for full project management and outcomes. Designs and develops training programs based on thorough analysis of the training need and in partnership with business unit Subject Matter Experts. Uses adult learning methodology and adheres to Training Department standards and models for design and development. Works with Risk and Compliance Center of Excellence and Sales Enablement Center of Excellence to ensure compliance, Bank Secrecy Act and sales training content is included in appropriate programs. Follows standard Learning and Development Program Approval Process. Partners with the Vice President, Enterprise Learning and Delivery Manager to identify appropriate delivery method for new and existing training programs. Designs, develops and conducts Train the Trainer sessions for Enterprise Delivery Team Center of Excellence. Oversees the implementation of a Pilot session for all new training programs. Ensures training programs are assigned to appropriate audiences and tracked in the Learning Management System for accurate Training Dashboard and metric reporting. Evaluates new and existing training programs using Learning and Development standard methods and makes recommendations accordingly. Builds training plans and curriculum roadmaps and determines project milestones, forecasts completion dates and identifies project risks and issues, devises contingency plans to mitigate risks, informs management of accomplishments, plans, and delivers project summaries.
Curriculum Development and Oversight. Design, develop, maintain and implement workforce readiness curriculums for assigned business units, including instructor led and eLearning courseware. Work with Business Units, Risk and Compliance Center of Excellence and Sales Enablement Center of Excellence to ensure all necessary courses and performance supports are included and aligned to the objectives of the program to ensure successful on the job performance. Establish assignment, tracking, monitoring and Opt Out process utilizing the Learning Management System.
Measures the effectiveness of training programs utilizing the Kirkpatrick levels of evaluation. Utilizes online course evaluation survey results to determine necessary program changes Level I. Writes effective exam questions and follows standard processes for Training Program Final Exams and other methods of measuring Learning Level. Work with assigned Business Units to establish Project goals and establish corresponding methods to measure desired Behavior Changes Level. Establish Return On Investment measurement Level in conjunction with Business Unit as needed for Senior Management reporting.
Keep up to date with corporate technology and learning technology to recommend appropriate delivery methods for all new and existing training programs. Recommends alternative delivery methods as needed for remote audiences.

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. Specialty:
Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (Required)
Experience
3 or more years Banking or training. Instructional design. ADDIE Model and Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation. Project Management. E-learning development software, graphic design, WebEx, video, and mobile learning technology. (Required)
Certifications
Certified Professional in Learning and Performance certification through the Association for Talent Development. (Preferred)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
