Summary:
The Insurance Agent will be responsible for performing the sale and servicing of insurance products that are associated with personal lines of insurance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:
? Present and sell insurance products to prospective clients
? Review all applications for completeness before submission for underwriting
? Act as a contact person between client and insurance carrier as required or requested
? Prepare billings and renewals for clients as needed
? Accept payments on behalf of the Insurance Agency and provide proper documentation to client of payment received
? Provide suggestions to management in order to ensure smooth operation of the Insurance Agency
? Provide assistance in formulating the annual business plan by suggesting new vendors, new procedures and other related information
? Answering incoming calls within three rings in a positive and friendly manner
? Keeps current with continuing education
? Knows benefits and offerings of all products offered through all companies
? Perform support functions and clerical duties, such as copying or faxing, as needed or required
? Have ability to close a sale
? Other job-related duties may be assigned
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Associate degree (A. A.) from two-year college plus one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid PA property and casualty insurance license.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
