Our client, located in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Active Director Specialist for an immediate direct hire position. Details include:
-Responsible for daily operations and support of Active Directory and related services.
-Manage the security of identities, systems, and data stored in or protected by Active Directory.
-Ensure access controls are in compliance with information security best practices, corporate policy, and government regulations.
-Provide technical leadership, supervision and guidance to Active Directory personnel.
-Active Directory Services (30%): Responsible for delivering services including, but not limited to, user and group provisioning, maintaining directory service permissions, securing data and network resources, local server security, printing, DHCP and DNS. Analyze, create, and manage effective Group Policy Objects (GPO) and security policies. Provide close liaison with project and support teams to ensure the security of existing and new applications, systems and initiatives that rely on Active Directory. Provide technical support for directory and authentication issues.
- Supervisory Management (20%): Ensures that all direct reports are meeting objectives and performing at acceptable levels. Define priorities and provide technical guidance regarding projects. Manages and conducts sessions pertaining to employment, performance ratings, salary changes, promotions, training, transfers, and terminations for the IT staff at assigned locations; and assigning projects to subordinates and assisting in managing their completion.
- Risk and Compliance (25%): Ensure Active Directory related activities are completed in accordance with regulatory and procedural guidelines. Assist with the effective security review of the security objects, operating processes, and technologies related to Active Directory on a periodic basis, ensuring appropriate access. Review access controls and monitoring capabilities and procedures, working to bring risk down to an acceptable level. Respond and remediate information security issues in conjunction with internal and external reviews and examinations.
- Data Protection and Recovery (15%): Assist with installation, maintenance, and monitoring of data protection systems. Provide recovery services. Manage and monitor the health of backups. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
