Due to our continued growth and the market acceptance of energy-efficient lighting and energy solutions, we are looking for experienced Commission Only, Outside Sales Representatives to present our line of products and services to business of all kinds and sizes.
You will call on businesses to introduce AELS and the benefits of energy-efficient lighting and energy solutions. We will provide one-on-one and in-the-field training to insure you know the market, products and solutions so you can succeed. We offer uncapped commission and the opportunity to establish yourself in a particularly lucrative field. Job Responsibilities
As a Commission Only, Outside Sales Representative, you will work out of your home office as you develop client leads using a consultative, relationship-based sales approach while building a network of referrals. This will involve not only making presentations to prospects, but also working with their gatekeepers as you make initial contacts and set up meetings.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
o Establishing business relationships with decision makers
o Introducing AELS as an industry expert and valued asset to your clients
o Presenting the advantages of our lighting and energy solutions
o Qualifying each prospect based on their business priorities
o Performing an initial project statement for each customer for review by AELS
o Leveraging company resources to deliver a formal proposal to each customer
o Presenting each proposal to the decision maker(s) and address all issues
o Closing each prospect
Position Requirements
As a Commission Only, Outside Sales Representative you must be focused, hard-working and results-oriented and driven, combining a strong work ethic with a positive attitude and an engaging personality. You should also be a quick and eager learner with a desire to constantly expand your sales and product knowledge. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as the ability to easily establish rapport with both clients and their gatekeepers.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
o Solid work history
o Prefer recent Commission Only, Outside Sales Representative experience
o Skilled in establishing business relationships and overcoming objections
o Excellent customer service and follow-up skills
o Professional appearance and demeanor
o Able to establish and maintain your own work schedule
