Linker Operator position

In this job, individuals would need to have excellent eye sight and dexterioty with their hands. The linker is used to take knitted material and link it to another piece of material with no visible seem. The linker operator would do the following:
- Thread the needle of the machine each time it runs out of thread or if the thread breaks.
- They would put a knit piece of material back on knitting needles which are anchored on a round machine - the material would have to match up in a straight line. This is done while seated in a chair.
It is repetitive and hard to learn but after someone has it, they are generally very good at it. It is however monotonous as it is the same thing all day long. There is no sewing machine experience needed and no knitting experience needed but it can be helpful in the learning process.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
