DESCRIPTION
Generate sales of client product line directly via telemarketing to new and existing customers with the goal of meeting/exceeding company forecast.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Make direct telephone sales calls to prospects and existing customers Engage web customers via multiple channels (phone, email, chat) to drive sales Aggressively research and seek new business opportunities Provide quoting support to account managers Meet monthly and quarterly forecast Enter and maintain accurate customer information in relevant business systems Maintain opportunities and record callbacks/tasks in Salesforce.com Negotiate pricing Ability to up-sell and grow accounts Survey and follow-up with customers and prospects Make wellness calls to customers to determine customer satisfaction Write up customer complaint/compliment forms Relay critical information to product management Work well with other sales groups, including both field- and office-based personnel Maintain cooperative relationships with product managers, customer service, technical service, and the credit and shipping department Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of calls Attend trade shows when needed Travel to other office locations to work with colleagues on efforts applicable to role Maintain a safe and clean work area.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Degree preferred
A minimum of two years telemarketing sales/customer care experience preferred.
Knowledge of computer software/programs including MS Office Suite preferred
Salesforce experience is a plus.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Typing 35-40 wpm preferred
Intermediate computer skills, experience with excel is desired
Self-motivating and outgoing. Able to maintain energy and enthusiasm
Ability to work weekends and light travel when required
Excellent phone etiquette
Excellent attendance

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
