Machine Operator - 2nd Shift High Steel Service Center LLC, located at 400 Steel Way in Lancaster, is a recognized leader in the steel service center industry and has an opportunity for a Stretcher-Leveler Operator on 2nd shift. This position requires the safe and efficient operation of the Stretcher Leveler Cut-To- Length Line to process raw material into finished products. Pull coils, setup machine, package and/or direct packaging activities. Computer skills needed to process work orders and materials. Coordinate all functions and related activities to maximize output. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will possess a High school diploma or equivalent and have proficient math skills, including fractions and decimals. Prior machine operation preferred with a knowledge of coil processing. Experience in forklift, sideloader and/or crane operations is helpful.
