Contract Sales Representative (Insulation Account Manager)

PURPOSE
The Contract Sales Representative is a highly motivated sales professional, problem solver and detail-oriented professional with the ability to communicate effectively, lead negotiations, and create trusting relationships with both internal and external clients. The Contract Sales Representative is also charged with booking orders and collect receivables in sufficient volume to achieve assigned sales and margin budgets. This role reports to the Branch Manager.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Must be able to build relationships through networking and referrals
Discover sales prospects, new leads and referrals
Develops and maintains assigned customer relationships by providing excellent customer service through regular contact, prompt, quality responses, professionalism and entertainment
Prepares contracts, and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients and suppliers
Develops bid strategies on a project-by-project basis
Main point of contact for all bid correspondence
Generates quantity takeoffs for project bids
Provides project estimates
Attends pre-bid meetings to become familiarize with job site conditions as necessary
Reviews and evaluates project specifications to determine proper materials, applications and scope of work
Responsible for the collection of receivables
Participates in events to market our services such as seminars, trade shows, etc.
Possess the ability to prioritize, and work assignments to completion
Must be willing to dedicate time to prospecting, qualifying and closing new business
Education, Training and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
College course work, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years sales experience
Experience working independently
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines
