15 an hour 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago This position involves managing the District's HelpDesk system, while assisting with the support of computers, peripherals and networks.
Essential Functions:
1.
Consults with and supports users on proper use and operation of hardware, software, or peripherals.
2.
Works closely with the Network and Systems Administrator to communicate likely network or systems issues.
3.
Installs software on computers and servers and maintains its accurate licensing agreements, details and terms.
4.
Protects data through virus protection scans and cleanup.
5.
Organizes and maintains asset inventory, storage, handling and assignment of computer hardware, software licenses and peripherals related to the buildings they are assigned.
6.
Maintains and installs computer equipment.
7.
Attends conferences, seminars, workshops or meetings relevant to the position to stay informed of the latest technology trends and make recommendations as to its possible value to education.
8.
Manages the schedule, duties and tasks of part time and volunteer technical support including summer technicians and interns.
(College and high school).
9.
Maintains optimum relationship with other staff members by being courteous and always mindful of the importance of confidentiality.
10.
Responsible for all technology related equipment, tracking and support for students enrolled in the CVVA program.
11.
Maintains and supports all equipment & software related to the Meals Plus POS system District wide.
12.
Maintains all aspects of HelpDesk system.
Dispatch, reporting, monitoring & support.
13.
Maintains all aspects of VOIP phone system.
Configuring, set up and monitoring user accounts, extensions and troubleshooting.
14.
Account creation and management for staff access to the Student Information System & Active Directory.
15.
Maintain inventories as necessary for the district.
16.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
