Summary:
Performs routine clerical, administrative and human resource functions for the Executive Director and Deputy Director.
Essential Functions:
1.
Attend board meetings, prepare minutes of the meetings, prepare and distribute board meeting information packets to board members.
Act as liaison between Executive Director and the Board.
2.
Serve as backup person to manage and coordinate the agency website and social media sites on to ensure the system is current.
3.
Assist in preparation of all capital improvement bid packages, legal notices, and distribute, maintain distribution lists and all associated addendums to the bid package.
4.
Coordinate marketing activities, employment advertisements and legal notices for the agency.
5.
Schedule all staff training.
6.
Schedule meetings and organize calendars for Executive Director and Deputy Director.
7.
Plan and conduct new hire employee benefits orientation.
Ensure I-9 compliance.
Update PA New Hire.
Process required documents for terminated/separated employees.
8.
Works with Deputy Director and Executive Director for the administration, coordination, and review of all LCHA employee health, dental, vision and life insurance programs.
Inform employees of benefit coverages and changes.
Works closely with benefits providers, brokers and LCHA regarding plan selection.
Responsible for COBRA compliance and records.
9.
Audit health insurance censuses to confirm billings, enrollment forms, and payroll records all reflect the same data.
10.
Maintain personnel records.
Update and organize policies as revisions are adopted.
11.
Coordinate various employee and agency wide activities and/or events.
12.
Performs additional duties and tasks as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION,
Experience:
Must satisfactorily complete a six (6) month introductory period to receive permanent status.
Ability to read and write and to communicate effectively.
Well organized, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, courteous, possessing good judgment, able to work independently and with little supervision.
Ability to operate standard office equipment including personal computer, copier, scanner and printer.
Must have proficiency in MS Office software and internet access and usage.
Three years of administrative experience with knowledge and/or experience in human resources Prefer possession of a valid Pennsylvania drivers' license and be insurable under the Authority's automobile policy.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The position is very active and requires standing, walking, sitting and bending on a regular basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Administrative Assistant spends a majority of their time in an office environment.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
37.
5 hours per week.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
The Administrative Assistant may have to travel to different facilities and locations.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
