Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist in a medical office preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this position may require occasional evening or weekend shifts.
