Designers have brand standards and our signature look to maintain, but otherwise have full creative freedom as well as access to an interesting variety of fresh and dried florals.
Our loyal customers have come to love and expect unique, memorable designs from Central Market Flowers.
Hours:
Full-Time or Part-Time applicants will be considered Requirements:
Friday and Saturday availability is a must Availability to work the weeks leading up to and including all major floral holidays 3
years floral experience Proficient with wedding and sympathy design and installation techniques Please provide portfolio and cover letter with your application Proficient in English, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively Ability to sell floral arrangements and provide recommendations to customers based on their needs Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques Experience in cash handling is preferred but not required Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time Creativity and attention to detail in floral design Valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to drive commercial van for event setup Execute non-compete documentation Positive outlook and encouraging team player Ability to endure stressful and time-sensitive situations and busy seasonal/holiday workload Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences Desire to uphold Perfect Pots mission and values Neat handwriting Background check
Responsibilities:
Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, daily delivery orders, flower shop, market stand and special events Design and arrange flowers according to customer preferences and specifications and company brand standards Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in selecting the right floral arrangements Keep work area clean and organized Assist in busy flower shop as needed by processing flowers, answering phones, providing in-store customer service, and supporting the team in any way needed Contribute positively to the team and company by knowing, supporting, and promoting the company's mission and values in daily work Create dried floral arrangements and bouquets for custom orders and stocking our dried floral boutique on King St.
Follow guidelines and systems in place to keep workflow organized and meet timelines Use team communication app to ensure smooth operations with other locations Collaborate with floral buyer to optomize floral orders for variety and low waste Work with a positive, growing team whose mission is to spread happiness with flowers!
