The Receptionist serves as the face of the company by greeting, welcoming and directing visitors and customers appropriately in-person and via phone.
This individual will notify company personnel of visitor arrival, assist in security protocols, coordinate catering requests, as well as provide administrative support to HR and other departments.
Position
Responsibilities:
Answers telephone, screens and directs calls via computerized telephone system.
Uses the internal paging system as needed for external and internal customers.
Manages visitor and customer entry to the organization.
Notifies the appropriate employee of the visitor's arrival.
Ensures that visitors are entered into the Visitor Management System, identification is verified, and entry agreements are reviewed and acknowledged.
Creates and issues appropriate visitor badges.
Monitors visitor access and maintains security awareness.
Communicates queries from the public and customers to the correct contact.
Maintains knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
Issues badges and keeps a temporary badge log book for employees who do not have their regular employee badge.
Prepares outgoing mail including postage.
Receives incoming mail and sorts to appropriate mailboxes.
Prepares electronic signs, whiteboards, and magnetic name plates for visitor parking places, greeting signs, and customer cubicle space.
Locks and unlocks the lobby doors at the appropriate times.
Prepares, tidies and maintains the reception area.
Orders and purchases refreshment supplies for the visitor's kitchen and lobby.
Places breakfast and lunch food orders and requested.
Picks up food and supplies at local vendors and set up and clean up breakfast, snack, and lunch events as requested.
Coordinates, prepares, and distributes the company's quarterly newsletter.
Provides administrative support to the HR department and other departments as assigned to include creating and editing electronic documents utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Performs other duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Administrative Studies or equivalent experience Prior receptionist and administrative assistant experience preferred Ability to work additional hours as required Valid driver's license and transportation Work Environment:
Office Environment:
Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc.

00 PM with additional hours as needed to meet demand.
Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.

Occasional travel may be required.
Office located in Lancaster, PA, with occasional visits to Lititz facility.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
