We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Utility - Food Runner & Busser.
This position is ideal for someone who is young, looking for seasonal employment during our busiest season, and interested in earning tips.
As a Utility - Food Runner & Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations by assisting in food delivery and maintaining cleanliness in the dining areas.
Responsibilities:
Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure orders are delivered correctly.
Clear tables promptly, ensuring dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils are removed efficiently.
Reset tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments for the next guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
Refill water glasses and assist with any additional requests from guests.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation practices.
Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces as needed.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
No prior experience is required; however, previous experience in a restaurant or customer service setting is a plus.
Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills or willingness to learn Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
Ability to lift and carry heavy trays or items as necessary.
Friendly and outgoing personality with a customer-centric approach.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be of legal working age and comply with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
