The Warehouse Receiver Assistant is responsible for using a RF scanner tp put away product in the appropriate pick locations throughout the warehouse and assisting the receiving department with other daily tasks.
Warehouse Receiver Assistant Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Unload incoming product and ensure product matches packing slip Unpack, sort and count inventory that is being received Stock shelves in the warehouse Label items as needed Warehouse Receiver Assistant Other Duties:
Add shelves to existing racks to create more space for product Assist with building pallet racks for larger product Maintain stock in pick locations and secondary locations Add and enter secondary locations into the system as needed General Housekeeping duties as assigned Performs other duties and special projects determined by Management Warehouse Receiver Assistant Requirements:
Ability to use RF Scanning devices and computers for general warehouse functions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The physical requirements for this job function are as follows:
Must be able to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift Must be able to push put away cart throughout warehouse Must be able to bend down to pick items off the floor and lower shelves Must be able to reach above head to pick items off higher shelves Must be able to safely use ladder to pick items Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Must be able to push/pull up to 25 pounds Must be able to operate walk behind lifts and pallet jacks, up to 600 lb.
