$55,000 - $65,000 per year (Negotiable dependent upon experience) Job Description for Production Manager Manage and coordinate activities of Production Department engaged in expediting the flow of cutting receiving, cutting harvest, planting, stock planting and maintenance, plant movement, plant maintenance and shipping Manage 4 supervisors who lead a total of 80 employees Actively lead the Production Department in the day-to-day tasks, planning and operations Provide leadership and direction to all direct reporting departments and employees Establish clear and visual plans recognizing, adjusting, and stabilizing production changes Establish and monitor standards of quality and performance Work with other departments to establish and maintain appropriate standards in all production areas Establish short and intermediate operational plans and objectives Identify and estimate resource needs, facilitate workflow, and distribute assignments Coordinate with purchasing for essential warehouse supplies and materials Cost Reduction Other duties as assigned Job Requirements for Production Manager Experience in perennial liner production, horticulture production, or agricultural production in a Production Management role preferred 3
years of management experience BS/BA preferred but not required Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred Ability to work overtime and weekends based on production needs Manufacturing and warehouse production labor management experience welcome Job Type:
