The HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician provides hands-on preventive maintenancein commercial and residential HVAC.
They safely inspect, clean, and verifyequipment operation and compliance in Mennonite Home and Woodcrest Villafacilities.
This position is performed in accordance with Mennonite HomeCommunities Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Technical school certification preferred Two(2) years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC operations,maintenance, or construction Musthave a valid PA Driver's License for the past two (2) consecutive years RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Servicesand maintains operation of ice machines, control systems, HVAC or refrigerationequipment, boilers, ducts, chillers and cooling towers in Mennonite Home andWoodcrest Villa facilities.
Makes recommendations for equipment repair, updateor replacement Performspreventive maintenance work and completes or schedules repairs.
Assists in developing estimates.
Purchases materials as needed Supportsother maintenance members as needed for basic plumbing, electric, mechanical,and any other general maintenance work that is required Worksindependently and completes hands-on assignments primarily consisting ofchanging filters, changing motors and belts, coil cleaning, andlubrication Respondsto emergency/after hour calls including snow removalMennonite Home Communities was foundedin 1903, the Christ-based mission is to enrich the lives of residents, staff,and the community.
