Duties and Responsibilities Establish area operating budget for utility operations and manage area performance to meet budget.
Manage area maintenance capital budget to ensure effective use of dollars while maintaining the integrity of the distribution system.
Develop and prioritize operations goals consistent with area and divisional goals and direct the operation to meet these goals.
Provide area leadership to encourage interdepartmental communication and cooperation in support of the company objectives.
Develop a strong supervisory team and promote individual growth, cooperation and development among the operating section employees.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of GOM, Emergency Plan.
Knowledge of DOT and PUC regulations.
Knowledge of gas distribution system operating procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience supervising and leading staff.
Valid Driver's License and safe driving history (confirmed by driver's record check) - recent and/or multiple driving violations may disqualify a candidate from employment.
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Engineering or Business.
5 to 10 years progressive experience in the pipeline industry.
OSHA, ICS training and certification preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Must obtain PA Driver's License if current license is from another state.
Demonstrable computer skills and/or aptitude, basic business and accounting/finance experience or education.
