Electrical Engineer III

TRC serves a broad range of clients in industry and government, implementing complex projects from initial concept to delivery and operation. Essential Functions of Position:
Perform system protection engineering associated with electrical protective relay systems for generation, transmission, and distribution systems Perform protective relay design (protective relay one-lines and schematics), protective relay setting coordination, development, and calculations Adhere to client requirements and internal company quality control and quality assurance practices. Serve as the interface between clients, other company departments, outside consultants, contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers concerning technically related matters Work closely with other Engineering and Project Management team members to coordinate overall project deliverables and assist in the maintenance of project budgets and schedules Prepare and review project scope design drawings Promote efficient flow of information, and ensure complete and accurate record keeping Perform project planning, organization, estimations, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities Provide project status and progress information to management and ensure the effective technical support of department needs and requirements Represent the company and its clients concerning technical matters, assist in the professional development of other Engineers, assist with internal training, and assist field personnel during relay testing and commissioning Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus 5 years of application experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and Protection practices and philosophies. Or, alternatively, a master's degree in electrical engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 3 years of application experience with electric power systems, industry practices, and Protection practices and philosophies. Must also possess the following skills:
(1) Demonstrated expertise designing Transmission and Distribution substation schematics and logic diagrams, with a focus in protection and control, system protection, and protective relays, as well as MicroStation or AutoCAD (2) Demonstrated expertise using protection engineering tools and software for performing power system coordination, studies, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash calculations) and modeling, utilizing ASPEN and CAPE (3) Demonstrated expertise performing relay setting calculations and programming relay settings for GE Multilin and SEL relays using software:
MathCAD, Excel, GE UR, SEL AcSelerator and 5010 (4) Demonstrated expertise using protective relay engineering theories (Symmetrical components, fault analysis, Electromechanical relays) and principals including industry standards including, IEEE, ANSI, IEC and NERC. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
